Uprooted from his home in Atlanta and transplanted to North Carolina, fifteen-year-old Erik Price was unknown, unpopular, and unsure of anything good happening to him in the near future. Especially after the death of his twin. Nothing in life seemed to matter anymore.

Keepers of the ancient art, the Da’Nhang were once symbols of justice and the only ones that stood between the freedom and enslavement of an entire planet. Until one of their own appointed himself king and ruler over the people, he swore to protect.

Erik gets drawn by the power of a mysterious book, which transports him to Kalupa and thrusts him into a battle of good and evil.
