Shaka couldn't believe that the man he was now looking at was the same man he once admired. It couldn't be! He had relinquished every principle that set him apart from every other hustler in the streets. He was always known for his integrity, and his loyalty, but after tonight...

Itchy looked into the eyes of his beautiful little girl and dreaded what he saw. In her eyes, he once saw all that he could be, all that she needed him to be, which was Dada. Now, those innocent eyes only held soul-numbing fear for the man that was once her hero. It was at this moment something in him flipped, and the monster was born.

Joe-Joe expected the drama to come with the street life. He dealt with it extremely early and had always seemed to come out on top. But this was a loss he didn't anticipate. It was a loss he never even saw coming, which made the pain ten times worse.

The streets take everything we hold dear, only to give us back a lifetime of regrets. This guilt lives inside broken people filled with broken dreams. And the places they inhabit are called ghettos.
