The Man: Gary Robinson

"Circumstances May Delay You,
But They Cannot Deny You."

Healthy Masculinity Specialist | Author | Speaker

Gary’s life shows the power of change and redemption. He dropped out of school in ninth grade and struggled with drug and alcohol addiction. His choices eventually led to a fifteen-year prison sentence.

Gary naturally believed his life was over while he was in prison, but during his incarceration, he met a group of men who inspired him to acknowledge his greatness. Within the confines of a prison cell, Gary realized his life had purpose, and it was up to him to fulfill it.

Gary is a symbol of positive change. He leads the Men of Strength Club, guiding young boys to become powerful men. As a counselor for The Community Powerhouse, he supports at-risk African-American males. He also serves as a Credible Messenger Mentor with Path2Redemption at DJJ.
